I'm a call center agent working on a Windows 11 workstation, and my microphone is currently muted from the system settings. Unfortunately, the IT department has locked most of the settings, so I can't unmute it myself. All I can do is browse and use basic functions. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do?

It sounds like your best bet is to contact your IT department directly. Since they've locked down access to your settings, they'll need to help unmute your mic. They might have specific reasons for keeping it muted, so it's worth mentioning it to them directly.
Good luck getting that sorted out! IT can be a hassle sometimes. Just be sure to explain the situation clearly when you reach out to them. They should be able to assist you.
Totally agree, just be patient with them. Sometimes it takes a while to get through.
