Should I choose Ryzen 5700X or 5800XT for my upgrade?

I'm looking to replace my Ryzen 3600 and I'm trying to decide between the Ryzen 5700X for €149 or the 5800XT for €218. While my 3600 isn't exactly a bottleneck at 3440x1440p with the 9060XT, it feels like the weak link in my setup, and I want to move to 8 cores. Given the price difference, I'm leaning toward the 5700X since it's almost €70 cheaper. What do you all think?

Avoid the XT models entirely. The regular 5000 series offers better value and the performance is just a few FPS better in gaming anyway.

The 5700X is a great move. It runs cooler than the 5800XT and only gives up a couple of frames per second. You're making the right choice!

If you can stretch your budget to €230-240, consider the 5900X, but otherwise the 5700X is solid for your needs.

I’d go for the 5700X any day, especially at that price difference! It's the better deal overall.

Honestly, for just €70 more, the 5800XT isn't worth it. The performance gain is minimal, around 1%, and it consumes a lot more power. Stick with the 5700X.

Yeah, that extra power draw is definitely something to consider!

Exactly, only a slight edge in performance isn't worth it.
