I'm having trouble setting up Microsoft Authenticator after my old phone broke. I was using Microsoft 365 Business as the sole member/admin, but now I'm stuck in a verification loop. I can't set up my email on my new Pixel 9a because it's asking for a code from the Authenticator app, which I can't access because I'm trying to set it up for the first time on this device. The app asks me to approve a request or provide a verification code, but since I can't log in, I can't get either. I can still access my email on my desktop, but I can't get into the Admin Center. Any advice on how to resolve this? Thanks!

It's always a good idea to set up a backup admin account for situations like this. You can also consider using a password manager for your TOTP codes instead of relying solely on the Microsoft Authenticator app. This way, you have alternatives should one method fail.
If you’re the sole admin, it could be worth trying to contact Microsoft's data protection team. They might be your best shot at regaining access since you can't log in to the Admin Center or the app for the verification codes.

Yes, that seems to be the only way to go. Thank you.
