I'm looking to move away from WSUS for server updates since I want something that feels more modern. We've been testing NinjaOne, but I'm not completely sold on it yet. In the WSUS setup, we would approve updates, the servers would download them, and then we would handle the installation and reboots manually. Has anyone here had experience with NinjaOne? How's your management of updates going with it? I'm also considering just sticking with WSUS for another five years if nothing seems better.

We’re using MECM, which feels a lot like WSUS but with a different interface. I've heard Azure Update Manager might be worth trying since it looks promising for managing updates.
Action1 is a solid free option for up to 200 devices. We’ve been using it for about 8 months now and it’s been really reliable. The interface is much cleaner compared to WSUS, and patch management becomes pretty simple once you get used to it.
I agree! The free tier is great for smaller setups, and it also covers third-party apps and even Linux updates, which is a huge plus.
Just switched from NinjaOne to Action1 and I’m loving it. Their dynamic grouping makes everything so much easier and more efficient.

Is that the old SCCM? I remember it could be really complex to set up.
