Hey everyone! I'm having a serious issue where my PC crashes every time I try to start League of Legends or Vanguard after the latest season drop. I've been playing League for over six years without any problems until now.
I recorded a video to show what happens. Basically, I get a blue screen error that says, "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" and lists a stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (0x38) with vgk.sys being the culprit.
I've already uninstalled and reinstalled all Riot-related files using a geek-uninstaller tool, and my drivers are up to date on my RX 9060 XT. It's worth noting that my PC runs other games just fine, so this seems specific to League or Vanguard.
I'd really appreciate any advice or solutions to get this sorted out!

I feel your pain! I'm also dealing with the same crashing issue ever since the recent updates. It's frustrating! I've heard that updating the BIOS might help, but I'm kinda clueless about how to do that.
I had the same problem, but I managed to fix it by updating my BIOS. Before that, I tried updating Windows, the GPU driver, and even repaired the League files, but nothing worked. Updating the BIOS was the game changer for me!

So updating the BIOS really is the solution? Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into it.
