I ran into some issues with my computer's Wi-Fi yesterday, which required me to use an Ethernet cable for the first time. After fiddling around with some settings, I finally got the Wi-Fi to work. However, today when I boot up my computer, I noticed that it won't play any audio at all. The only time I can get sound is when I plug in headphones, but for the application I'm using, headphones aren't an option. On the homepage, the audio icon has a small 'x' next to it. I'm concerned that whatever changes I made to fix the Wi-Fi might have affected the audio. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Have you looked in your audio settings? Try checking if it's muted or set to a very low volume. That might solve your problem.
First things first, double-check that your volume isn't muted. You can also try restarting the audio service. If that doesn’t work, reinstall the audio drivers for your sound card. Sometimes an update or configuration can cause issues like this.
