I'm looking to upgrade my setup and want to add either 16GB or 32GB of RAM. I've been checking out second-hand sellers who are asking between 80 and 100 euros for 16GB DDR4 RAM modules. I understand that RAM prices have been fluctuating lately, and I already have 32GB installed. Should I go ahead and buy now, or do you think it's better to wait and see if prices come down?

Honestly, prices are pretty high at the moment. I really hope this RAM bubble bursts soon! But I'm not holding my breath for a significant drop anytime soon.
For 64GB, it’s generally better to go with 2x32GB sticks. But if that’s too pricey or not practical since you’d have to sell your current RAM, then 4x16GB sticks will work just fine as well. Just remember, you can't run 3 sticks together; they need to be in pairs for dual-channel mode. Prices might keep climbing, so it’s really up to you if you want to buy now or wait. Just don't run 3 sticks, that won’t be optimal!
If you're looking to expand your RAM, I'd say grab it now. Prices might continue to rise for a while, and even if they eventually drop, I doubt they'll go back to those past lows. If you need the RAM, better to buy when you can.
Thanks for the tip! I was actually going to try running 3 sticks, but I’ll definitely stick with 2. Do you think mixing my RGB RAM with some regular stuff would work?
