Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on upgrading my graphics card. Right now, I'm running a system with a Ryzen 5600X, 32GB RAM at 3800MT/s, a 2TB PCIe4 SSD, and an RTX 2060. My setup is starting to show its age, especially when I'm playing my favorite racing sim games like Forza, Assetto Corsa, and others. I usually game on a 4K 120Hz TV, but I often drop the resolution to 1080p or 1440p with DLSS enabled to get better performance. With some games struggling and my own desire for improved graphics, I'm considering an upgrade. Unfortunately, I'm not in a great financial situation right now due to a recent injury, so I can't afford the latest models like the RTX 5070 or 5080. I've been looking at options like the RTX 5060 or Intel's B580, which seem more budget-friendly. Do you think these would be worth considering for enhancing my experience, especially given my 4K gaming needs?

If you're looking to upgrade, the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM or the 9060 XT with the same could be great options. They would provide a significant boost over your RTX 2060, especially for 4K gaming. However, be cautious; the B580 is an upgrade but may struggle with 4K. It's better for 1080p or 1440p if your main goal is higher performance.
Honestly, if you’re dealing with financial issues, it might be wise to hold off on a GPU upgrade right now. Your current games seem to run fine, and stressing about future performance can lead to unnecessary spending. But if you feel you need something on a budget, a used RTX 3060 Ti could be a solid choice—it’s much faster than a 2060 and you might even find one around $250.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into used options.

I hadn’t really considered AMD cards! Are they usually cheaper than Nvidia?
