I'm trying to factory reset my new PC, but it's currently stuck at 89%. I even left it overnight hoping it would finish, but no luck. Any suggestions on how to get past this?

If turning it off doesn't work, try reinstalling the OS from a USB drive. Sometimes things get messed up during the reset, and a fresh installation can fix it.

You might want to just turn it off and then back on. It's a simple step, but it can sometimes kickstart the process again.

Yeah, I agree. A restart can help clear things up often.

It's weird that you're doing a factory reset on a new PC. Usually, it should come pre-reset. Are you trying to remove some of that manufacturer bloatware?

Exactly, that's the plan! I just want a clean slate.

Backup your keys and attempt a fresh install from USB. It's often the safest way to deal with these kinds of issues.

If you’re going down the USB route, make sure your installation media is good. Trying a different USB stick could help if you think it's corrupted.
