I recently got a used projector from a family member and I'm excited to hook up my PS4 Pro to it for some gaming. However, I've been struggling to get the projector to recognize the PS4 through the HDMI cable. I've tried changing the resolution on my PS4 and even bought a new HDMI cable, but nothing seems to work. Is anyone else experienced this issue and is there an easy fix? Just to clarify, the projector is an NEC Model U321H, which I believe is meant for conference rooms, and I know all the devices work separately; they just don't connect together.

It sounds like the projector might be the problem. They've been known to cause connectivity issues. Your PS4 should generally connect without any hassle. If you share the model of the projector, others might have more insights to help you out!
Have you checked the display settings on your PS4? Since the projector only supports 1080P, go to "Sound and Screen" then "Video Output Settings." This could affect the connection. Sometimes incorrect settings lead to display issues like flickering or no display at all.
So I should try to change the display settings on my PS? If that's even possible? Sorry, I’m not too tech-savvy. Just a dad trying to squeeze in some gaming time when the kids are asleep. Thanks for the quick answer!
Thanks, I was afraid so. I updated the post with the projector info.
