I'm currently running an AM4 setup with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, a 6700 XT, 16GB of RAM, and a B450m pro motherboard. I use my PC for programming, some video editing, and gaming. Given the rising prices of components in my country, I'm really stuck on whether to upgrade my CPU or transition to an AM5 setup. Would upgrading to a CPU other than the X3D series be worthwhile? I was planning to buy a second-hand Ryzen 5 5600, but I've seen mixed opinions on whether that's a good upgrade. Should I just wait things out?

If you're doing a lot of video editing, you might want to consider going for a Ryzen 5900X or 5950X. The extra cores can significantly improve your editing performance.
How's your system performing right now? If you feel like it's slowing down, how much improvement are you hoping to see?

I'm looking for something that could help my system last longer, maybe even skipping the AM5 entirely if that's possible. What do you think about going from a 5600 to a 5700X3D or 5800X3D?
