I've been having recurring problems with Google's primary DNS (8.8.8.8) going down. It first happened on January 9th, and I noticed it again recently. I can't ping or traceroute to that IP, and it seems to be affecting only certain ISPs. Is anyone else facing similar issues?

I've got two sites that can't ping 8.8.8.8—one in Northern Wisconsin and another in Chicago. My locations in Ohio got back online, but it's still a hassle.
Yeah, I noticed it was down for about 18 minutes when I tried pinging it. I'm monitoring it along with another Google DNS (8.8.4.4) across two different ISPs with Zabbix. At first, I thought my ISP was completely down, but thankfully it was just the DNS.
Everything's working fine on my end with Comcast in the Chicago area. No issues with Google's DNS here.
I've had issues too. I got a call from work saying the main internet was down, and my monitor linked to 8.8.8.8 failed. After rebooting my ATT equipment, it didn’t switch back like it did before. It's really odd because I can ping it through mobile data, but not on my Starlink connection.
I'm in Wisconsin and Ohio, and I've definitely seen the same problems. It's been frustrating! Some days the connection just drops out, and I can't reach 8.8.8.8.
