I'm considering buying my first gaming PC and I found one with these specs: it features an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, an RTX 5060 with 8GB of VRAM, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. I'm curious if this setup can handle 1440p gaming at 160-180 FPS. Also, any thoughts on the overall performance of this PC would be appreciated!

If you're mostly into story and souls-like games, just be aware that while some might work fine, you'll encounter limits with others. The PSU is also on the lower end—550W may not suffice if you're pushing the graphics.

Also, what games are you looking to play? That could change how this setup would perform for you. Elden Ring and Arc Raiders can be punishing; ensure your specs can handle it.

The RTX 5060 is generally seen as more suited for 1080p gaming rather than 1440p. If you're serious about 1440p gaming, I’d recommend looking into a stronger GPU. The 8GB VRAM might hold you back as well, especially in modern titles.

It really depends on the game. Titles like CS2 might run well, but if you're playing something like Cyberpunk on ultra settings, you're likely to struggle. You'll need to tweak settings for better performance in heavier games.

Honestly, if you can, looks for a GPU with more VRAM, at least 16GB, to future-proof your build. The 5060 at 8GB feels outdated for 1440p gaming expectations.
