I'm looking to build my first PC since my old MacBook Pro from 2015 is giving me a hard time with software issues. I really want a PC that not only performs well for gaming but also allows for future upgrades. My budget is flexible, but I'm hoping to keep it around $700 to $1000. I've seen a lot of videos suggesting budget builds around $500, but I'm not sure how good those really are. Any tips or recommendations would be super helpful!

If you want a solid PC that you can upgrade later, I’d recommend looking at an AM5 motherboard paired with a budget CPU. Right now, finding a GPU under budget that performs great is tricky. You might want to consider something like a 7600 XT, but it really depends on your monitor's resolution too.
What will I mainly be using it for? I'll be gaming, streaming, and doing some studying. Nothing too intensive like music production or video editing.
