My mouse keeps freezing during games—help!

I'm having a really frustrating issue with my mouse while gaming. My old mouse, a Redragon M808, started freezing for about a second while I was playing Valorant, but I didn't hear the usual disconnect sound. Thinking it was the old mouse's fault after three years, I replaced it with a new wireless one, the Attack Shark X11. However, I discovered that the exact same freezing problem persists! At first, it would freeze maybe once a day, but now it's happening constantly, making it hard to play anything.

I've done everything I can think of to fix it: I've formatted my PC and reinstalled drivers, switched SSDs, monitored power spikes with HWiNFO64 (everything looks normal), and tried plugging my mouse into different USB ports. I've even uninstalled Valorant's anti-cheat, just in case it was causing issues, but I still see the same problem in CS. Using the new mouse in wired mode didn't help either!

I've run stress tests on my CPU, GPU, and RAM to no avail, and MEMTEST86 showed no errors. I've also disabled USB selective suspend and other power-saving settings. I'm completely stumped; any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked what other devices are connected via USB? Sometimes other peripherals can interfere. Try removing everything aside from the mouse and keyboard and see if that helps.

I only have the keyboard connected, and I even tried changing their ports. Still, it’s only the mouse that has problems.
