I've been having some problems with Windows, and I'm currently in touch with Microsoft support. I was wondering if it's possible for me to screen record what the support rep does while they have remote access to my computer. Is that allowed?

I don't think Microsoft usually connects remotely unless it's for legit support, but yeah, recording it could be risky. It's best to clarify with them directly if you can go ahead and screen record. Better safe than sorry!
Honestly, it's a bit tricky. If you're sure you're dealing with Microsoft support, technically, you might be able to record the session. However, it's good practice to ask the support rep for permission first. Some companies have policies against it to protect your privacy and their own protocols.
