Is it possible to add keywords for easier object search in Microsoft 365?

I've noticed that we have several shared mailboxes and groups that have names which don't really match their functions, or have some odd spellings. I'm looking for a way to add keywords to these objects so that they show up when I search using more generic terms. Is there a solution for this? I get that someone could suggest renaming everything, but that's not really feasible for me. I'd appreciate any useful advice instead of the standard processes that don't apply.

If you're looking for a more customizable approach, try using Extension Attributes 1 through 15. They’re there for a reason!

For shared mailboxes, you might consider setting organizational details; that could help, but I'm not sure of an easy solution for groups. By the way, is this an issue just for you or do others feel the same way?

You could create a private distribution list with your preferred names and include resources in it. That might make things easier for you!
