I recently bought a second-hand PC that didn't come with a GPU. After getting a GPU and a mounting bracket, I realized the mount I purchased is designed for horizontal slots, while my case (Corsair 4000D Airflow) has vertical space. I've got the GPU installed but can't navigate the cables because the mounting bars are blocking access. Can anyone suggest a solution? I've looked for mounts that fit the vertical slots or ones that could slide back, but haven't had any luck.

You might try using the GPU without the mount temporarily. Sometimes, it's okay to secure it just with the PCIe slot. You can check to ensure that it's stable before deciding if you want to keep it like that or buy a different mount later.

I thought it needed a mount for airflow or something? It doesn't fit into the normal slots because there's not enough space.
