Is it Worth Upgrading to a 5070 Ti Now or Should I Wait?

Hey everyone! I'm currently using a 3060 Ti with a Ryzen 3600 and 16GB of RAM, and I game on a 1080p display. I'm thinking about downscaling my PC case from an NZXT 510 to something more compact, like the Lian Li A3 MATX. To do that, I'll need a new motherboard and possibly a new PSU. While I'm at it, I'm considering upgrading my entire setup since I found a 5070 Ti for $750, which seems like a good deal given the rising prices due to production winding down. Still, I'm torn. Should I go for the 5070 Ti and gradually build my new system, or should I hold off for another couple of years in hopes of better prices? I mainly play Fortnite but plan on diving into Cyberpunk, GTA VI, and do some video editing. I'd appreciate any advice because I'm really conflicted, but that price on the 5070 Ti feels like a deal I might regret passing up!

I’ve got a 7900 XT paired with a Ryzen 5600X, and it runs well for me. Sure, some games require lowering settings like sun reflections to maintain FPS, especially in Battlefield and Arc Raiders. Unless you feel strongly about it, I wouldn’t jump to AM5. A 5700X with a decent GPU should keep you set for a while!

Yeah, I get that! I've been looking at my setup and it’s pretty bulky, so I’m tempted too. But with prices going up on PC parts, I'm torn. I’d love to invest in the new 5070 Ti but I want to be smart about it—sounds like a full setup may be the way to go for long-term peace of mind!
