Trouble Updating BIOS for New Processor

I'm having issues updating my BIOS to support a new processor. I've recently purchased a Ryzen 5 5500 to replace my old CPU since it was bottlenecking my PC. My motherboard supports this CPU, but I need to update the BIOS first. I attempted to update using the ASUS EZ Flash Utility with version 6241, but when I try to select the file from my USB drive, I get an error saying 'Selected file is not a proper BIOS!'. I've also tried older versions, including one labeled 5852, but I keep getting the same issue.

I was advised that sometimes the BIOS file name gets an unwanted 'R' added to it, so I checked and removed that, but it still didn't work. Currently, I'm still using my old processor, the AMD A10-9700. I want to resolve this BIOS issue so that I can eventually install the Ryzen 5 5500. Here are my specs for reference:

- Motherboard: Asus Prime A320M-K
- Current BIOS version: 5603
- Processor: AMD A10-9700 Radeon R7
- RAM: 2x 8GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz
- GPU: 1660 Super

Here's a step-by-step you can try to fix that BIOS update issue:

1. Make sure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32.
2. Download the correct BIOS file from the official ASUS site.
3. If the file is compressed (.zip), extract it.
4. Use the biosrenamer.exe tool to rename the BIOS file if needed.
5. Copy the renamed file directly to the root directory of the USB drive.
6. Boot into BIOS and attempt the flash again.

Give this a shot, and let me know if it works!

I tried those steps too, but I keep running into the same error. It's so frustrating!
