Is the Ryzen 5 7600X a Good Match for an RTX 3060 in a Budget PC Build?

I'm a student diving into 3D animation and I'm planning to build a budget PC. I'm leaning towards using an RTX 3060 because it has 12GB of VRAM, which seems great. I'm considering the Ryzen 5 7600X for the CPU. Do you think this CPU is sufficient, or could it be a bottleneck for the GPU? I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions!

I think you’re on the right track! The RTX 3060’s 12GB of VRAM is beneficial for animation projects, especially compared to the newer RTX 4060 with only 8GB. If you can get the 3060 at a good price, go for it!

The Ryzen 5 7600X is definitely a solid choice for a budget build and should pair nicely with the RTX 3060. It's powerful enough to keep up with the GPU without causing a bottleneck. Just keep in mind that the RTX 3060 is becoming somewhat older, with newer generations like the 4060 now available. What's your budget for the entire build (excluding peripherals), and where are you located?
