I ran into a frustrating issue today. After I restarted my computer, the Wi-Fi icon vanished from the taskbar, and when I try to access the network settings, it just sends me back to the desktop. I can't connect to any network right now. Does anyone have tips on how I can resolve this?

Have you thought about calling your ISP's tech support? They might be able to sort the issue out if it's a service problem.

You should check the device manager to see if your wireless adapter is still listed and if it has any errors showing up. That could give you some clues about what's wrong.

I already checked that, and everything seems fine.

First, can you tell me if you're on a laptop or a desktop? And are you using Windows 11? In the meantime, do you have an Ethernet cable handy to connect directly to the internet? If not, do you have a USB wireless adapter?
