How can I transfer my files to my new PC build?

I'm setting up a new PC, and I'm wondering about transferring my files from my old system. Can I just take the SSDs from my current rig and install them into the new one? I've got Windows installed on my current SSD, but I want to install Windows on the new SSD since it has more space available. Will this cause any problems? My main concern is to ensure I don't lose any game saves—or are Xbox games saved in the cloud? I also want to keep my videos and photos safe.

You can definitely move your old SSD into the new build! Just make sure to install Windows on your new SSD. After that, your old SSD can serve as a secondary drive, like your D drive, for extra storage without any issues. Just remember to back up everything important beforehand, just in case!

So having Windows on both SSDs shouldn't be a problem? I was worried about conflicts.

No worries! It’ll be fine. Just set the new SSD as the primary boot drive, and you’re all set.
