I recently received a PNY Geforce 1080Ti 11GB graphics card and I'm excited to see how it performs. However, I'm having some trouble getting it to work with my setup. I have a Ryzen 5 7600x3D processor, an M850 motherboard, and a 750W power supply. When I install the 1080Ti, my motherboard shows a white VGA light and there's no display output. My older graphics card works just fine, so I know the system itself is functioning. I've tried adjusting the BIOS settings to set PCIe to Gen 3, since the 1080Ti is an older card, but I'm not having any luck. I've also experimented with both HDMI and DisplayPort cables without success. Could there be issues with the motherboard compatibility, the BIOS, or is the 1080Ti possibly dead?

I personally think it could be a dead card, especially if you’ve already tried changing settings and ports. If the appearance looks good, that's promising, but without knowing the history, it's tough to say for sure. Have you tried reaching out to the person or organization that gave it to you for any more information on its functionality?
That sounds frustrating! First off, did they mention if the card was working when you got it? It might be worthwhile to clear the CMOS and reset your BIOS settings to see if that helps. Also, do you have another PC handy? Testing the card in a different system could clarify whether the issue is with the card itself or your setup.
