How can I find out what’s taking up space on my Windows 11 PC?

I have a CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC with specs including an Intel Core i5-13400F 2.5GHz, GeForce RTX 5060 8GB, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. My PC seems to have too much storage space being used, but I can't figure out what's causing it. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to track down what's using my disk space.

Start by enabling Storage Sense in Windows Settings to optimize space automatically. After that, running Disk Cleanup as both a user and in admin mode can help remove some unnecessary files.

Another option is to run Disk Cleanup and check for files that can be deleted safely. Just be sure to have backups before making any changes, especially if you tinker with settings!

You should try installing a tool like WinDirStat. It visually shows what's taking up space on your drive, making it easier to identify large files or folders.

Using tools like WinDirStat or WizTree will help you see exactly what's consuming your disk space. It gives you a clear idea of where to focus your cleanup efforts.
