Hey everyone! I just got a second-hand PC and I'm curious about what games I can run on it, specifically avoiding horror genres. My specs are as follows:
- Processor: i7 4770k
- RAM: 16 GB
- Graphics Card: GTX 970 (4 GB)
- PSU: 600W
- Storage: 1TB.
I'd really love to know what open-world games are recommended!

With your specs, you can enjoy a lot of games released before the PS5 came out. Indie games typically run just fine too, so don't hesitate to check those out for some lesser-known gems!

Oh man, a lot of modern open-world games might struggle on your rig, especially the more demanding ones. But definitely grab The Witcher 3; it’s a classic and should work well!

You should be good to play most games released up until about 2020 on low to medium settings. Open-world titles like The Witcher 3 should run well, and it's got tons of content that’ll keep you busy! If you want more suggestions, consider checking out communities focused on low-end gaming too!

I had a similar setup, and I could easily run any game available up to 2021. Just remember, lowering the resolution or in-game settings can help improve performance. Also, Steam's two-hour return policy is a lifesaver if a game doesn’t run well!
