Is the Red VGA Light Normal on My Gigabyte Motherboard?

I'm using a Gigabyte B850 Gaming WiFi6 motherboard with a 5070ti GPU. When I boot up, the status LEDs flicker on and off, which seems normal. However, I'm noticing that the VGA light remains on after I exit the BIOS. Is this expected behavior? Also, my monitor has been turning off randomly, and I suspect it might relate to the GPU not recognizing it properly.

Hey! So, first off, can you share your full build specs? It's helpful to know what else you're working with. Also, has the GPU's fans been running when you start up? Just making sure you’re connected to the GPU instead of the motherboard for your monitor.

I got my build info here: https://www.microcenter.com/product/698875/powerspec-g730-gaming-pc. And yes, the GPU fans do spin, and the display is plugged into the GPU!

Perfect! So the lights you're talking about are the diagnostic ones. If the fans are spinning and you're connected correctly, it might be worth checking for driver updates or reseating your GPU.
