I've transferred my SSD that has Windows 10 installed onto a new laptop with an 11th gen Intel CPU, but it keeps crashing with a BSOD. I tried a fresh install of Windows 10 on a different drive and had to load the RST driver during that process for the system to recognize the drive. Is there any way I can inject this driver into my old Windows 10 installation? I'd really prefer not to start from scratch again. Thanks for any help!

Honestly, moving an old installation to new hardware can really complicate things. It’s usually best to do a clean install when changing systems greatly. You might get lucky, but many who try this find their systems run unstable due to big hardware differences. Just sayin'.
To figure out the BSOD issue, you'll want to look for dump files. If you can access Windows, or even go into Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any crash logs. If you find some, zip them up and upload to a file sharing service like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. This will help us analyze what's going wrong. If you don’t have dump files, check out guides on configuring Windows to create them. The more dumps, the better for troubleshooting!
I hear you, but I'm curious if there’s a workaround! Is there really no way to get this working without wiping everything?
