I'm in the process of upgrading my system and looking for advice on the most reliable RTX 5090 setup. I've come across some interesting options like Asus's Astral shunts and Zotac's indicator LED, but I really want to know what the safest choice would be since I want to avoid Asus due to their poor RMA experiences. Additionally, since I need to use a 90-degree cable, should I go for the Corsair Power Bridge or a 90-degree cable from BeQuiet or Seasonic? I'm considering those PSUs since they offer 16AWG, which seems like a suitable choice.

For your situation, I'd say the Astral with a Microcenter warranty is your best bet. That way, you get the shunts along with coverage that goes beyond what Asus offers. But if you're worried about costs in the long run, maybe invest in a case that doesn't require a 90-degree cable for better airflow and easier setup.
Unfortunately, I can only mount the GPU vertically, so I really have to stick with the 90-degree cable. Plus, I'm stuck with a wall mount case, so changing that isn’t an option.
