Experiencing Frame Time Issues with My RTX 5060 – Need Help!

I recently got an RTX 5060 and I'm starting to lose my patience because I'm having serious frame time issues while playing some demanding games. Whether it's during loading screens, walking around, or at other points, the gameplay just isn't smooth at all. It's baffling, especially since I've seen videos of similar setups running fine, even in 4K! Has anyone encountered this issue or know what might be causing it? Here's my setup for reference:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600gt
- GPU: RTX 5060 8GB
- RAM: 16 GB (2x8)
- Motherboard: MSI A520M

It might be a PCIe bandwidth issue. Your PCIe 3.0 CPU doesn't match the GPU's PCIe 5.0 capabilities, which could be limiting your performance. Check to ensure your GPU is running on x8 lanes, as that's its standard wiring. If you're using a lot of VRAM, that bandwidth limitation could definitely cause the frame time problems you're seeing.

That's a solid point! Might also be worth looking at VRAM usage during gameplay. If you're hitting close to 8GB, that could exacerbate the problem.

What specific games are you having trouble with? Knowing that might help narrow down the issue. Also, have you tried using a guide for optimization? There are some great resources out there that can help fine-tune your settings to improve performance.

If you've already used DDU for drivers or clean installed Windows, try doing a BIOS update next. Also, make sure your DOCP/XMP profile is set correctly. For the Ryzen 5 series, you should aim for your RAM to be in the 3200-3600 speed range. If your system isn't optimized, it could really impact performance, especially if you're using a Gen 5 GPU on a Gen 3 bus.

By the way, have you checked your CPU, GPU, RAM, and VRAM usage while gaming? Sometimes figuring out where the bottleneck is can point you in the right direction. It could be that your RAM speed is also an issue if it’s lower than 3000, which I've seen happen with others.
