I'm currently using a 5070 Ti and I'm wondering if a 7700X processor would be a good fit for my setup. I'm considering upgrading to either the 7800X3D or the 9800X3D, but funds are tight. I game at 1080p now, but I'm planning to move to 1440p in the near future. What do you think?

I think the 7700X will handle your needs just fine. Unless you're aiming for maximum FPS in games like Valorant or CS:GO, it should perform well for what you're looking to play.
I personally recommend checking out the 9600X. It's gaming-focused, budget-friendly, and energy-efficient. However, I did see some bottleneck calculators suggesting a bit of a performance hit with the 5070 Ti. What do you think about that?
