What do I do if my fans are too big for my radiator?

I accidentally bought 140mm PC fans, but my radiator only supports three 120mm fans. Is there any kind of adapter or solution to make these larger fans work with my radiator?

Another option is to buy smaller fans that fit your radiator properly. That way, you won't have to deal with any adapters.

You might want to just return the fans and get the correct size. It's usually the easiest fix if you can still return them.

If you have a 3D printer, you could make a custom bracket or mount your fans somewhere else in the case. I had a similar issue once, and I had my radiator without fans for a while, but it still managed to cool the system decently. Just make sure to have enough airflow in there!

That sounds interesting! So could I just make an adapter to go from 140mm to 120mm?
