Hey everyone! I'm curious if anyone here has experience gaming on a 5K2K ultrawide monitor with an RTX 5080. Can it handle modern games on ultra settings smoothly using DLSS and Frame Generation? Thanks in advance for your input!

Yes, it can definitely handle it! I'm using a 240Hz 5120x1440 OLED with my 5080, and it performs flawlessly. Adding extra vertical pixels shouldn’t be a problem at all!

You're right about the 5K2K resolution! It refers to 4K ultrawide, which is around 5000 horizontal and 2000 vertical pixels. Just the modern way of putting things, I guess!

It depends on what you mean by "comfortably." For intense games like Cyberpunk 2077 with ray tracing, it can be tricky, but for most titles, it should be good.
