What GPU can I get for double the performance of a GTX 1070?

Hey everyone! My GTX 1070 has been acting up lately, and I think it might be on its last legs. I'm looking to upgrade but don't care about ray tracing or upscaling features since I'm using Linux and these don't really apply to me. I'm mainly interested in finding a GPU that offers at least double the performance of my current 1070, focusing on raw rasterization performance and maybe some power efficiency. Any suggestions?

According to tech specs, an RTX 3070 or RX 6750 XT would be great choices. Personally, I’d lean towards the 6750 XT for Linux compatibility.

How does the 7600 XT stack up against the 6750? I’m having trouble finding older models available in my area.

You could look at the RTX 3060 Ti or the RX 6750 XT. Both are solid options that should give you a nice boost in performance.
