I've been having a frustrating issue with my PC shutting down unexpectedly. It started when I switched from an Nvidia GPU to an AMD one. Initially, I had a A750GL power supply, and my PC would shut down completely while I was playing Fortnite. Now I've upgraded to an RM850x PSU, but the problem persists – it still turns off again when I'm in the waiting area before landing in the game. I'm beginning to think it might be a problem with either the motherboard or the GPU itself. Any ideas on what I should do next?

You might want to check the manufacturing date on your new PSU. If it’s older than 2020, it’s a good idea to reach out to the manufacturer about this situation. They may suggest different cables or solutions which could save you from having to buy a completely new PSU.
Have you checked your Event Viewer for any crash logs? That could give you some insight into what's causing the shutdowns. It might help pin down the issue if the logs point you to a specific problem.
Did you reinstall Windows when you made the switch to AMD? I know some people just clean out the drivers using DDU, but a fresh install can sometimes clear up these kinds of issues too!
