I'm currently using Windows 10 and I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade to Windows 11. Here's my setup: an i5 6600k CPU, a GeForce GTX 1070 GPU, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. What do you think?

You can keep using Windows 10, but it’s at the end of its life. If you're curious, you could try Windows 11 on a bootable USB, but it can be a hassle to install. If not, maybe take the time to explore Linux, although it has a learning curve.

Your CPU is actually not supported by Windows 11, but there are ways to bypass that. Just keep in mind that Windows 10 is nearing its end of life. After October, it won't get security updates unless you're on a specific plan, which means you could be vulnerable to new threats.

That's a good point; it's important to think about security.

True, but some people still prefer sticking with 10 for stability.

I've got a 7950X3D and I'm thinking about going back to Windows 10 because I find Windows 11 pretty awful. Just be aware that some services are dropping support for Windows 10 soon, which is pushing people to upgrade.

If you really want to switch it up, I'd suggest trying Linux! You can run it from a live USB without needing to install it. Just remember that Windows 10 is nearing end of life and won't get security updates anymore.

Honestly, there aren't many real benefits to switching to Windows 11 from 10, so you might want to stick with what you have for now.
