I've been using my Xiaomi phone as a hotspot for my MacBook Air M4 while commuting, but suddenly it's been running really slow. My Mac can't even load a speed test page! However, my Windows laptop connected to the same hotspot is getting around 40 Mbps. I've tried restarting both devices, reconnecting to the hotspot, turning off my secondary eSIM, changing the DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8, and disabling the firewall on my Mac. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?

Have you tried checking the IP address on both devices using icanhazip.com? That might help identify if there's a difference in connection or routing.
Yes, I checked and the IP was the same on both devices. Seems like it's not a routing issue.
