Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a budget gaming PC, ideally under $600. I'm not looking for anything super fancy since I only plan to play games like World of Warcraft and some older ones like Half-Life 2. I've come across some really sketchy deals on unknown brands on Amazon, which seem too good to be true—with laptops marked down from $1900 to $560 and crazy countdown timers. So, I'm steering clear of those. I've also seen some options on eBay from recognized brands. Any recommendations on where I can find a reliable deal, especially for a desktop? I'd appreciate any suggestions!

You might want to check out this HP Omen gaming desktop I found for about $700. It has an i5 processor and good graphics, but you might not find something under $600 that's decent quality right now. It’s getting tough in the budget range!
If you think the Amazon deals look fishy, you’re probably right! Those unknown brands often aren’t legit. You could check out Facebook Marketplace for local deals; I've had good luck there.
I’ll check out FB Marketplace, thanks for the tip!
Are you open to buying used? You might find some decent options if you look locally!
Yeah, used sounds good as long as it works.
For a cheap but decent setup, you could consider an HP Z440 Workstation. It’s going for around $320 on eBay, and while you might want to upgrade the CPU eventually, it could be a good starting point.

Totally agree, those deals are definitely sketchy.
