Hey everyone! I'm currently studying Debian 13 in school, and I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm supposed to work in a non-graphical environment, and it's proving to be tricky for me. I'm particularly looking to learn how to copy and paste text between my computer and the Debian machine. If anyone has some links to helpful videos or tutorials, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a lot, and have a great day!

You're in a tough spot if you can't figure out basic stuff. Learning the basics is crucial, especially in a solid computing program like yours. But don't worry, we all start somewhere!
First off, how are you accessing the Debian machine? Are you using SSH, or are you running it directly in a virtual machine? That info could change how you copy and paste.
I'm using VirtualBox on my Windows laptop.
To copy from your desktop, just select the text and use right-click in the terminal. That should allow you to paste it inside the terminal.
It doesn’t seem to let me do that.

Yeah, it's all part of the learning curve. Just take it step by step!
