Why Did My PC Suddenly Shut Down While Watching a Movie?

Hey everyone, I'm facing an issue with my computer. It just switched off unexpectedly while I was watching a movie, with Steam running in the background. When it powered back on, I checked the interior for overheating, and all the fans were functioning well. However, before I could monitor the temperatures in Windows, it shut off again. I had to disconnect the power supply for five minutes, and when I reconnected it, the PC started on its own. The last things I saw in the event log were related to a Windows restore point and Windows security, with the CPU temperature recorded at 49 degrees Celsius. My specs include an i9-13900K, RTX 4090, and 64 GB of DDR5 RAM. This is the first significant issue I've encountered, and despite running stress tests without any problems before, I'm concerned. Tomorrow, I'll check the RAM, noting that I only have XMP enabled in the BIOS, with no overclocking. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks!

It sounds like it could be a power supply issue. What power supply are you using? It might also be a motherboard problem, but I'd lean towards the PSU as the culprit.

I'm using a Seasonic VERTEX GX, 80+ Gold, 1200W.
