I've upgraded to the new Max plans, which should be integrated with Claude Code usage, but I'm still seeing charges and I can't find a way to switch it over. Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

Try typing `/login` in Claude. It should prompt you to switch to the "Claude app" mode that uses your Max credits. I just signed up and it worked for me!
Unfortunately, that didn’t work for me either.
Make sure you log out of the old API account before logging in with your Max account. If done correctly, the welcome screen should confirm that you’re logged into Claude and not just the API.
I’ve run into the same problem with logging in. Even after trying to log out, I could only get back into the Anthropic Console without any choice for my Max account.
I found the fix! The issue was my outdated version of Claude Code that couldn’t connect to the Max plan. Here’s how to solve it: uninstall Claude Code completely, remove all configuration files, clear the npm cache, and then install the latest version. This way, you should see both login options when you start Claude again.
I experienced the same issue. Simply logging out didn’t help. I ended up reinstalling Claude Code, and after that, the necessary options finally showed up for using my Max plan.
That’s exactly what I needed! Thanks a lot!
Yeah, that worked like a charm! No need to log out or anything, just hit that `/login`.
