As a junior sysadmin with about a year of experience, I've recently started leveraging GAM to streamline our Google Workspace management tasks. I'm reaching out to see if anyone working in smaller, fast-paced teams can share their go-to GAM commands or scripts that have significantly improved their workflows. Additionally, I'm in the process of cleaning up old Google Groups that haven't been active for around two years. If anyone has found an efficient method to audit the "last active" status using GAM or other tools, I'd really appreciate your insights. Thanks a lot!

I wasn't really a fan of GAM; I ended up using the PSGSuite PowerShell module. It worked for me when I checked it about six months ago. Not sure about its maintenance status, though.
Email aliases are one area where the admin console really falls short, and GAM is fantastic for handling that. Also, the GYB (GotYourBack) tool from the GAM team is worth checking out if you're managing backups.
I mainly use GAM for managing delegated email access because, oddly enough, Google doesn’t let admins do that in the admin console. It’s a real lifesaver for me!
I created a script to manage user terminations. It processes a text file with Employee IDs, checks their status, and performs various actions like changing usernames, moving to a different OU, and wiping mobile devices using GAM commands. Super efficient once set up!
Sorry to jump in but, what exactly is GAM?

Honestly, this is the only thing I use it for too. It makes things so much easier!
