I'm considering using my Iqos 10W charger for my iPhone 17 because it seems to generate less heat than my Apple charger. However, I'm unsure if it's a good idea to use a non-Apple charger. Will it harm my phone or affect the battery performance?

Using a 10W charger might be better for keeping the heat down, but just keep in mind that it’ll take quite a while to fully charge your phone. If your only concern is heat, it’s perfectly fine to use it, just don’t expect fast charging.
You can definitely use your Iqos 10W charger to charge your iPhone 17, but be prepared for a slower charge time. Quality third-party chargers usually won't damage your iPhone, as long as you avoid the really cheap knock-offs. Also, while it might seem like using a lower wattage charger is better for battery health, it doesn’t necessarily extend battery life. If you have a good charger, just use that instead.
