I've just upgraded my PC setup and now I'm facing some major issues after installing my new GPU. To give you a quick overview, I initially thought my old graphics card was dead, so I returned it and got a new one, along with a beefier power supply unit (PSU) just to be safe. I made sure to uninstall the old drivers before installing the new GPU and downloaded the latest drivers ahead of time. At first, everything seemed fine; it posted and worked perfectly. However, when I tried to install the drivers, the screen went dark during installation. I waited for about ten minutes, but there was still no signal, so I rebooted. Now, I'm not getting any signal at all, and my mouse and keyboard aren't even powering up, although the PC itself turns on just fine. This is really stressing me out! The last time this happened, my old GPU worked perfectly, so I'm at a complete loss about what might be going wrong this time.

Do you have a CPU with integrated graphics? If so, try connecting your monitor to the motherboard's HDMI or Display port to see if you can troubleshoot from there. Also, be sure to get rid of any leftover old drivers using a tool called Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). That should help Windows use the generic drivers until you can install the right ones from the manufacturer.
I totally get your frustration! The last time I had a similar issue, I went through all the steps you mentioned, but sometimes the conflict happens right when you install those new drivers. Definitely check with the integrated graphics as you mentioned, it could give you some clarity.
You might want to try using a different graphics cable or plugging into another port on your GPU. Sometimes the issue could just be a faulty connection and switching it up can help.
