Is My $1,250 CAD PC Build Good for Programming and 1080p Gaming?

Hey folks! I've just wrapped up sourcing the components for my very first PC build. My budget was $1,250 CAD, and I'll mainly be using this rig for programming and playing games at 1080p, leaning towards non-AAA titles. Here's the list of parts I picked up:

- 1TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD for $214 CAD. I know it's on the pricier side, but it was the only reliable Gen4 drive available that didn't cost a fortune or come in the form of a slower SATA drive.
- I chose 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM, which fits my budget and should be sufficient for my coding and gaming needs.
- For the graphics card, I went with the RTX 5060. I considered the Intel Arc B580 due to its price but opted for NVIDIA because of better driver stability.

Do you think this setup is well-balanced for the $1,250 price range?

I wouldn't stress too much about NVIDIA's driver stability lately; it's been a mixed bag. Which development tools are you planning to use, by the way?

Oh, I’m just using AI for grammar checks—totally botched the tool list. Thanks for your understanding!

Honestly, for that price point, I might have leaned towards a pre-built system. You can get options like the Acer Nitro with a better CPU, DDR5 support, and even Windows included, plus warranties. Just a thought! By the way, I noticed some refurbished models go for around $850, which is a steal!
