I'm thinking about upgrading my RAM from 16GB to 32GB because I found a decent deal on second-hand RAM. My current setup has RAM running at 2133MHz, and I'm considering getting 3200MHz sticks. Should I replace all my existing RAM with four new sticks or just add two new ones? Here's my current setup: GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700XT, CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Motherboard: B550-A PRO.

Honestly, with RAM prices being a bit all over the place right now, it might not be worth pouring more money into 3200MHz. Plus, keep in mind that the next generation of CPUs is going to support DDR5, so you might want to wait until then to upgrade properly!
Before you decide, make sure you confirm that your current RAM really is stuck at 2133MHz. I've had situations where I had to enable XMP to unlock the actual speed, otherwise the motherboard just defaults to the minimum.
First, double-check what your current RAM speed is actually set to. Have you enabled the XMP profile in your BIOS? If not, you likely aren’t getting the full speed from your RAM. A lot of times, even faster RAM can show as 2133MHz if XMP isn't activated.
I just checked and saw that my XMP was turned off. That explains the lower speed!

Just found out that my XMP was disabled too, thanks for the heads up!
