I'm searching for a Linux application—or maybe a specific distro—that can help me with running programs more smoothly. Ideally, I'd like something where I can select an application, and if it doesn't run, it would notify me about any missing plugins or drivers. It would also be great if the system could automatically find and download those missing files with minimal clicks and hassle regarding compatibility. I play a lot of games, including RPG Maker emulators, but I don't need anything too demanding in terms of system resources. If anyone has suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

There's no single tool that can do everything you want seamlessly. However, you can use Lutris, which is a game manager that has a huge database of games, and it often provides helper scripts to make installation easier. For RPG Maker games, you might want to check out the 'rpgmakerlinux-cicpoffs' package. Once you have it, just right-click on the Windows executable and select 'open with RPG Maker MV/MZ (cicpoffs)'. That should usually get your RPG Maker games up and running!

Ah, so just use Lutris and install cicpoffs, right? Thanks for the tip! I should be able to run my RPG Maker games like that!
