Hey everyone! I've put together a low budget PC build (check it out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bXszjn) and I'm unsure if I made some good choices or if I skimped on certain parts. I'd love to get some feedback from anyone with experience to see if this is a solid build or if I should make some changes. Thanks in advance!

Honestly, there's a better $600 build out there that gives you more bang for your buck. The RX 580 you chose is getting quite old and isn't even receiving driver updates from AMD anymore. You should definitely check this build out: [link]. Also, consider the used market for a 5600 CPU and an RX 6600 or 7600 for good deals.
I wouldn't say your build is optimal. If you're looking for a cheaper CPU, just stick with the stock cooler to save some cash. Focus on getting a better GPU; what you picked is ancient! Here's a modified build for reference: [link]. I found a better price for the PSU and switched out the case for one that looks nicer.
I think the Ryzen stock cooler will do just fine for you! Also, consider grabbing a used graphics card - you could find a RX 5700 XT or even a 1080 for around $150 on eBay.
That's a great tip! By the way, the last time I checked, RX 580s were going for about $50 in the used market.
With your budget in mind, I'd suggest looking for second-hand PCs on platforms like eBay or Facebook Marketplace in the $300-$400 range. You can find decent AM4 systems and then simply upgrade parts like the GPU or CPU without starting from scratch.
I appreciate the advice, but I'm set on building my own PC since I've never done it before!
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely consider your changes in my final build.
