I'm looking for a laptop suitable for some light gaming. At 49 years old, I'm a bit out of the loop when it comes to computers, haha! I'd really love to play games from Steam, especially Coral Island. I'm into casual puzzle games—no first-person shooters for me! Some games I'd enjoyed in the past (mainly on my iPad or Switch) include Animal Crossing, the Rusty Lake collection, The Room, escape room games, Cozy Grove, and The Case of the Golden Idol. I used to love the point-and-click Sierra games too! Just to note, I'm not interested in a Mac or MacBook. Any recommendations on laptops or games?

As a small PC repair shop owner, I'd highly recommend the Lenovo Legion series. For around $1000, you get a solid CPU and graphics card. If you want, I can suggest a specific model! And by the way, if you haven’t tried RimWorld on Steam, it's a great game!
RimWorld is awesome, but I'd warn you that it has a pretty steep learning curve. It might not be similar to Coral Island at all!
