What’s the best way to connect four devices to a three-input HDMI switcher?

I'm trying to hook up my PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Steam Deck to a three-input HDMI switcher, but I need another input for my setup. Should I just buy another switcher to handle the extra input, or could I daisy chain a device into my existing switcher? What are my options?

Why not just get another TV? That would solve all your problems!

If your TV has multiple HDMI inputs, you could connect the fourth device directly to it, or see if your PC and TV can use DVI or DisplayPort instead of HDMI to free up some space.

Sure, daisy chaining is an option, but it might make your setup look messy. I’d recommend getting a four-input switcher instead—it’ll keep everything neat and tidy.

You can definitely daisy chain an additional device, but honestly, if you're already considering a second switch, just get a four-input switcher. It’ll save you the hassle down the line.
